First Day of School

I have been bad again about keeping this updated. Justice just started kindergarten. My little boy is growing up and is looking more and more like a boy and not a little kid. Sam and I took him to school on his first day, it was a good thing that Sam came because I had my hands full with Skye and Brock so Sam took all of the pictures. I of course cried. Everyday when I go and pick Justice up from school I always ask him how his day was, he replies it was awesome. I am so glad that he is liking school. The other day when I asked him how his day was, he asked me why I always ask him that. Some times he is like me just has nothing to say and then other times he is like his dad and can talk and talk and talk. Sam likes it when he is talkative. Justice can say some of the cuties things. He has the funniest sense of humor.

Little Love Birds

2 weeks later

Tomorrow it will be 2 weeks since Justice got his first set of stitches. On Tuesday we got his stitches out. Getting stitches sure has not stopped him. He is still running and jumping around. I guess that is part of being a boy.

On the Mend

It is day 4 since Justice hurt his lip. I can't believe how much the swelling has gone down.
He has been really good at letting me clean off his stitches and putting neosporin on his lip.

The Morning After

Here is how his mouth looks this morning. It is swollen on his right side, you cant really tell how swollen it is in these pictures. Last night after we left the hospital, Justice wanted to go straight to Wal-mart to get a prize. (His dad promised him one.) Today we will get him cleaned up as much as we can so that he can go with his daddy to get his prize.

Tough Boy

Last night we has our first visit to the emergency room. We met Sam for dinner and then came home. Justice was running and jumping from love sac to love sac (he was excited that his dad was home early).
Both me and Sam kept telling Justice to settle down, unfortunately he did not listen. Justice tripped as he was jumping from the love sac and hit the corner of the couch. At first Sam did not know what was going on, then he saw Justice. I took him into the bathroom so that I could get a good look as to what happened. Sam remained calm and got the baby in the car and the dog locked up, while I got some slippers and Justice's coat on him. I am glad that we live so close to my parents and the hospital, We asked Justice who he wanted to stay with him at the hospital while the other took Skye to Nanny and Poppy's. Justice wanted to have his daddy so we dropped Sam and Justice off at the ER and I took Skye to my parents (it kind of hurt my feelings that he did not want his mommy with him.) then went back to the ER. Justice was already taken back waiting for the doctor. He was not happy that he had to get a shot, however once his lip was numb, he stated that he felt a lot better and he wanted to go home. We had to wait for a plastic surgeon to come and stitch his lip up. He has 1 stitch inside his lip, 7 or 8 on the outside and 4 0r 5 more on the inside of his mouth. He was talking the whole time that the doctor was stitching him up. We are so proud of how tough and brave our little boy was.

Pillow Fight Time

We had Sam's family over on the 4th and we got some new pillow's. Justice and Sam decided to break them in by having a pillow fight.

Self Portrait

Justice loves to take the camera. This is his self portrait.

One is not enough

Skye got sick the first week in January. I guess she thought that one binkie was not enough to help sooth her needs. Lately she has to have one binkie in her mouth and another one in her hand just in case. She is always rotating which one goes into her mouth.

Happy girl

How can you not love that face. I took the kids with my parents up to Strawberry so that we could see the salmon get milked or de-egged. She was such a good girl for the trip. Unfortunately the visitor center was closed when we got there so we did not get to see it.

I just want to go to bed

Skye was so tired I was in the middle of doing something so I just gave her a bottle and put her in the high chair. She did not drink to much of the bottle before falling asleep
I just couldn't resist. I don't think they will cuddle like this when they are older. Worn out from a day of boating.

Chillin on the lake

Justice is just chillin, waiting for us to let him get into the water. Boy he looks more and more like his dad each day

My Kids

This is one of my favorite pictures. Justice is always wanting me to take a picture of him and his sister. So you would think that I should be more up to date on this blog.

Time to swim

This past summer we went to Flamming Gorge with some friends. Justice fell into the lake after that we could not get him out. He loves the water just like his dad.

Justice was outside playing this summer and got stuck in the seat belt of the car stroller. He was not to happy with me in taking his picture before getting him out.

Sorry

I am the worst and trying to keep up on this blog. What a year so far. In June we took our first Family Vacation to Flaming Gorge. It was so much fun that 2 weeks later we did it again. Justice just loved the camping and the boating. We also took Justice jet skiing this summer, He keeps telling me that we need to do it again soon. He just loves the water just like his dad.

My little Skye is up and walking, she has been walking since June on her own, but she was cruising around our furniture for a while.

Justice turned 4 and does not let us forget it. Every time we tell him he can't do something or to be careful we get a response from he that he is 4 now, he is a big boy, and he can do what he wants because he is 4 and I am not the boss. We still have to keep reminding him that yes, he is a big boy but daddy and mommy are the boss so he still has to do what we say.

Our little Skye has the best little attitude, she will sure let you know when she does not agree with something. She sure does love her Big Brother, she gets so excited to see him and is always going over to him and giving Justice hugs and kisses.

Not much more has happened over the summer. Me and Sam are finally taking a trip by our selves. It has been forever since we have been on a vacation together. Thanks to Aunt Debbie the kids are going to have a fun weekend with her and Uncle Dave. Me and Sam are off to Anaheim to see the Boston Red Socks take on The Anaheim Angels and hopefully I can talk Sam into going to Disneyland one day this weekend. I will get pictures posted soon of all of our summer adventures.

Justice & Smokey

Last year on Sam's birthday we loaded up and went to Cabella's so that Justice could see the baby bears. This is him holding a bear (yes it is a real bear cub).
